Laura Carpenter is Technical Writer for the Blood Bank of Alaska. She has lived in Zimbabwe and earned a BA in creative writing and Spanish from Beloit College in Wisconsin. She now lives in Anchorage, Alaska, with her girlfriend. Amnesty Outcast is her first novel.
